The SoHo Urban Artist Lightweight Mahogany French Easel is easy to assemble! All wood is finished in a rich mahogany color. With a 12" x 16" wood palette, a 12" x 16" divided supplies drawer that carries a wide assortment of supplies for either watercolor, oil color, or pastel painting, a comfortable to-hold handle and two rings and a shoulder strap giving you another option for carrying.

Easel folds down to 22-1/4" (L) x 17" (W) x 6-3/4" (H) and assembles easily in minutes becoming a great easel for small painting areas in the home and for field and travel use. Three legs fold into the base of the easel and are easily assembled to provide a sturdy base for outdoor painting.

The sketch box top section is secured by two stabilizer arms. Within the arms are springs so that the top of the box will never accidentally crash down causing damage to the easel. The arms allow a full range of angles from vertical to flat and lock in securely. At the front of the sketch box, top section are the canvas holders that allow you to position even the smallest canvas at a comfortable painting height. Both the bottom canvas holder and the top canvas holder are adjustable and serve as a wet canvas or panel carrier after painting.
